🌾Makar Sankranti is known by many names like Uttarayan, Pongal, Til Sankranti and Magh Bihu.
The change in the zodiac sign of the Sun is called Sankranti. Makar Sankranti is celebrated when the Sun reaches Capricorn from Sagittarius. Capricorn is the zodiac sign of Saturn and the entry of the father in the son's zodiac sign is not only an enhancer of good deeds but also a destroyer of sins.
